Monika's Diary Part 2.
Since my last entry in the diary more exciting things have
happened that
provided me with more research work in order to help people with their
health problems.
I would like to say a big thank you to Tish Farrell, children's author, for
her invaluable help by lending me books, I did not know have been written,
but also for telling me about the lives of people in Africa, where she
lived for a number of years and their absolutely normal use of herbs in treating
themselves and their families.
If they are ill, their first port of call is the local Herbalist.
I must say that I would like nothing better than to work with a native
Herbalist, regardless where in the world. They have so much to offer, that
would benefit everybody in need.
This quest for knowledge will be with me for ever.
The next important mile-stone in my life came in May '03, when I did a
course in Thought Field Therapy with Charles Stone, one of only a few TFT
teacher / practitioners in this country.
TFT is a system that works on the autonomic nervous system, that part not
under our control.
An imbalance in this area leads to stress with depression, anxiety and
general unpleasant emotions.
Prolonged stress leads to physical disease!
We Herbalists seek to treat the underlying cause of disease and when they
are caused by stress, not seldom in this day and age, a balancing of the
autonomic nervous system wipes away the triggers of these emotions and
HURRAY !! NO MORE PROZAC!! If someone has got a debilitating disease that
will also cause stress and emotional upset and can therefore also
successfully be treated with TFT. And the best news is that my herbs work
even more quickly after successful TFT treatment. Patients normally only
need one treatment, lasting from a few minutes to one hour and may
continue
the treatment at home when needed.
On Friday 20th June a number of likeminded people gathered at Dowde Church,
Kent to celebrate the summer solstice and Keara in her wonderful green
frock
looked like a pagan goddess.
It was a great day.
Sending unconditional love
Monika
