Past Life Meditation.

If you are anything like me I am sure that you are inquisitive to find out not only who you were in a past life, but what kind of life you lived. I believe strongly that we live many lives, and experience a whole plethora of emotions, adventures, challenges and insights throughout our whole existence.

Finding out about a past life can be a very uplifting experience and sometimes a very grounding one. It seems to me that every time I have glimpsed a past carnation, the scenes and experiences that I have seen have had very real lessons for my life of now. It is to be noted that regression is a very un-emotional process, although we see ourselves and our life playing out before us we remain emotionally unattached, watching as observers and not feeling the experiences again as they are shown to us.

I have been privileged to have been taken through various regression techniques in hypnosis, but the meditation which follows is my own. Written whilst teaching at the Children of the Soul Centre. This meditation gives you the ticket to ride, to explore not just one but all of your past lives, and in giving a firm starting place for your journey, this meditation is one you can revisit again and again to explore more and more of you!

 

Sit comfortably and relax. Gently wander your thoughts through your body from your scalp down to your toes, not forgetting any part of your body, relaxing each part in turn. Be aware of any places which feel particularly tense or where there is any pain, note its presence, thank your body for drawing your attention to it, let it relax and ask your healing guides and angels to remove the feeling whilst you enter this mediation.

Let go, Relax, Feel yourself becoming lighter and more and more relaxed.

Open your chakras in turn if you have not already done so and call your guides and guardians, ask for their help and that of your higher self as you enter this mediation. Knowing that as you discover your past personas and incarnations their help will enable you to learn from these past experiences and remember the learning into this lifetime.

As you relax I want you to feel the room changing around you. You are sitting in a really comfortable chair. The atmosphere feeling cosier, safer, warmer than before. You look around the changed room in your mind and find it quite perfect. The perfect calm secluded place just to be ............. snug, warm and safe.

You notice the photos on the walls, they seem to smile at you and draw your attention. You want to look at each of them in turn.

The first photo is of you as you are now, your name and age is typed neatly underneath it. You can see yourself as others see you and you realise that the photo was taken in this very room.

All the photos around the walls have also names and dates typed neatly underneath, and as you draw close to each one in turn you realise that they are all photos of you. Taken in different places, different lives, different times, and different forms.

Take as much time as you need to look at as many photos as you wish, noting small details about each.

You will find that some of the pictures will draw you more than others, and you notice that when you reach out and touch a picture it seems to come alive in front of your eyes. You can see your life playing like a film before you, you can smell the air, feel the environment around you and watch yourself as if you were a surveillance camera unseen but very aware.

Take some time now to look at those lives that draw your attention. To experience and explore them. Know that you can come back to this place at any time to look at others.

When you have seen all you want, when you feel comfortable, in your mind return to the comfortable chair, close your eyes and smile your thanks to your higher self, your guides and guardians for this experience.

Gradually feel the room changing and become aware that you are now in this room, in this time, happy and safe. Remembering all that you experienced and when you are ready gently open your eyes.

You will need a drink of water!

As soon as you can write down your experiences. This kind of meditation can be a wonderful source of information, but that information will be lost in time if you don't write it down while it is fresh in your mind.
