Quiro Massage

Quiro Massage is a traditional form of massage, taught mostly in Spain and through out South America. It means, hand massage, and does not use anything other than the hands, so no feet and elbows!

Quiro massage has proved an effective treatment for most physical strains, including sciatica, tennis elbow, trapped nerves, back pain, headaches and digestive disorders.

Gentle enough for babies, for the aged or during pregnancy. Quiromassage does not use any aromatherapy oils, and is gentle on the skin. This kind of massage is very flexible, and can be effective for helping improve the passage of the lymphatic system, to improve circulation, stimulate bowel movement, encourage fat burning, help clear congested lungs and relieve aches and pains.

As a deep tissue massage, it is very effective for sports injuries, and aids recovery and healing by stimulating the circulation, and thereby helping the body to flush out the toxins, helping the muscle tissue to repair, and ridding us of the aches and pains we often feel after hard physical exercise.

Quiro Massage has proved so effective in cases of Sciatica, I actually had one gentleman come for regular massage sessions, when he first came, he was walking with a stick and constantly in pain, by the end of the next month, only four treatments later, he was back to cycling again, and hardily ever in pain.

Should you be looking for a more relaxing and pampering massage, I would suggest you look into a hand, arms, neck and face massage, which I can only describe as thirty minutes of pure relaxation. We use our hands all the time, but so rarely give them the attention they deserve, and this massage in particular leaves your hands feeling rejuvenated and alive, like never before. Once you have started to relax, you will find that in no time the relaxation is spreading up your arms, releasing built up tension, little aches and pains that you have had for years dissipate, your neck too carries a lot of inbuilt tension from your back and shoulders, and many who suffer headaches have a lot of tension in the neck and jaw. This is gradually and gently released, and finally the facial massage, leaves your skin feeling warm, clean and alive.

A massage session such as the hand, arms, neck and face massage described above would take about 30 minutes. A full body massage would take over two hours, so please bare this in mind when making an appointment.
