The Judgement.

Before you even think about being judged by god, or those around you let me state that this card is only talking about you judging yourself.

Judgement gives us a chance to evaluate the person that we are, what we have done and how we have worked to get to this point in our lives. So we can judge ourselves and the most effective way to move forwards.

We can see our selves and our lives realistically, almost like a written recipe for muffins, and think ‘OK what if anything do I want to change to make my life richer, better, more effective. Shall I take out the Chocolate Chips and put in Nuts?’

In this way the immediate card after the judgement really becomes an advice card, this is what you need to be addressing or an attitude you need to adopt. The sun for example would say that although the questioner is very good at being optimistic for others they have a tendency to be pessimistic when it comes to themselves and they need to adopt a more positive self-attitude. The devil to take the other extreme would suggest that this person has a tendency to self sacrifice far too much and needs to stand up and gently take the reins back of their life from those that seek to control them.

It is not up to the reader to tell the person how they are going to judge themselves, only the questioner can truly see what they need in their life. But gently explaining the meaning of the immediate card after the Judgement can really help the questioner to focus clearly on themselves and the future that they not only desire but truly deserve.

Never see the Judgement card as a time of criticism, see it as a solid opportunity for reflection and creation of a newer brighter improved you.
